İzmir Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi in Bornova was founded in 1985 with the approval of the T.C. Ministry of Education. It has contributed to the development of over 2000 students by educating them in the fields of machining and welding. Students who are younger than 18 and have completed middle school, complete the 4-days applied and 1-day theoretic training program to graduate, and either contribute to the production within Terbay or other companies. Terbay Machinery technical training school graduates also have the opportunity to receive higher education by participating in the university entrance exam.
Terbay with its technical training education system quickly, economically, and efficiently provides the qualified intermediate manpower needed in our country alongside raising productive and socially beneficial individuals.
